How can photographers join BookYourSnap Partner in India?
Photographers can join by signing up at https://bookyoursnappartner.in/signup using their mobile number or Google account. Upload 6–10 portfolio shots, list your camera equipment, and submit Aadhaar and PAN documents for KYC verification. Once reviewed (typically within 24–48 hours), your verified profile goes live.

What documents are required for KYC verification?
KYC verification requires a valid Government ID (Aadhaar Card or Passport), a PAN Card (for tax and bank payout compliance), and a live liveness selfie. Visual studios and production firms can also provide GSTIN or business registration documents.

How and when do photographers receive client payouts?
Client payments are secured in escrow at the time of booking. After completing the shoot and delivering photos/videos, click "Mark Complete" inside your dashboard booking details. Funds immediately move from Pending (Escrow) to Total Earned. You can then request a payout to your registered Indian bank account or UPI ID, transferred within 24 to 48 hours.

Does BookYourSnap own copyright over photographer's uploaded photos?
No. You retain 100% full, exclusive copyright and intellectual property rights over all your captured photos and videos. BookYourSnap receives only a limited, non-exclusive promotional display license to showcase your portfolio on the marketplace so clients can discover and book you.

Can studios and freelance cinematographers also register?
Yes. BookYourSnap Partner is built for solo photographers, wedding cinematographers, drone pilots, commercial photo editors, and full-scale photography studios across all Indian cities.

What is the platform fee?
BookYourSnap Partner charges a transparent 5% to 10% platform fee on successfully fulfilled bookings. There are zero subscription charges, zero listing fees, and zero costs to view or accept client inquiries.

What happens if a client cancels a booking?
If a client cancels a confirmed booking within 24 to 48 hours of the shoot, the photographer is protected by our compensation policy and receives a partial compensation fee directly into their account.

What if a client does not show up at the venue?
Please wait for at least 15 minutes and attempt to reach the client via the in-app chat. If the client does not respond, mark the booking as "Client no-show" inside the booking details page. You will not be penalized and are eligible for travel and opportunity compensation.
